Hypnosis refers to a condition or a state in which the subject becomes highly responsive to suggestions. During a hypnosis session you are given positive and beneficial suggestions while in a trance state. Your subconcious hears the suggestions being given to you by the hypnotist. It is up to you to accept these suggestions. You are always in control.

Hypnosis is a normal state of mind.  It is a state that we all experience during the day and don't even realise it. While you are driving, watching TV, listening to music, are just a few examples. While in a hypnotic state you will never do anything you do not want to do.  You can "wake" up at anytime and will not tell any secrets unless YOU wish to share with the hypnotist.  You will always come out of hypnosis.
